Benjamin Franklin's Junto
David Bauer
A 2005 Legacy Prize Winner, David also serves on the Creativity Foundation's Junto. He is in his third year of his DPhil in Clinical Medicine at Oxford, focusing on Genetics & Biophysics. David's research looks at how DNA is organized inside cells and how the DNA interacts with the proteins that do the day-to-day tasks of living organisms. Now based at the Clarendon Laboratory as part of the Kapanidis Group to focus on biophysics, he spent the first half of his DPhil working under Kalim Mir at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics.
