Mahan Esfahani, Legacy Winner 2006, is performing at the Library of Congress. April 02, 2010

Mahan Esfahani, Creativity Legacy Winner from 2006, will perform at the Library of Congress on May 29 at 2:00 pm.  A soloist and collaborative artist on harpsichord, fortepiano, and organ,  Mahan will play Wanda Landowska’s Pleyel harpisichord, featuring pieces from her 1927 concert at the Library of Congress.  A post-concert discussion with Mahan will be featured as part of the 39th Annual Meeting of the American Musical Instrument Society.  No tickets are required. More

Dennis Shafer, Legacy Winner 2008, is performing with the Chagall Performance Art Collaborative March 04, 2010

Dennis Shafer, Creativity Legacy Winner from 2008, will join with fellow Chagall Performance Art Collaborative artists to present Choose Your Own Adventure Series Premier Concert on Friday, March 26 at 8 pm.  This unique musical adventure will take place at Jewett Hall, First Church of Cambridge, 11 Garden Street in Cambridge.  Tickets are $10 and can be reserved by contacting Sounds in Bloom at soundsinbloom@gmail.com     More

Shaw Natsui, Legacy Winner 2005, is attending medical school at the University of Michigan March 03, 2010

Shaw Natsui, Legacy Winner 2005 and current student at University of Michigan Medical School,  spent this past summer conducting public health research in HIV/AIDS in the Dominican Republic.  He hopes to pursue an area that combines medicine and community-driven health. More

Deepa Bhupali, Legacy Winner 2005, will be a neurology resident at Albert Einstein May 11, 2009

Deepa Bhupali, Creativity Legacy winner from 2005, is graduating from Wright State University School of Medicine in May and heading next year to Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she has been accepted as a neurology resident.  Bravo Deepha! More

David Bauer, Legacy Winner 2005, wins a Rhodes Scholarship May 11, 2009

David Bauer, Creativity Legacy Winner for 2005, will be heading to Oxford in the fall as a Rhodes Scholar, working on a doctorate in chemistry and genetics.  Congratulations and Bon Voyage!!  David spent several weeks Liberia in the spring, helping science and math teachers in remote villages.  He will be teaching chemistry this summer at City College of New York before heading to England. More
