Y2Y Network

Y2Y Network effectively provides homeless youth with a safe place to sleep and the resources they need to succeed. We are impressed by the organization’s dedication to dignity for all, its care for the emotional and physical safety of the shelter’s guests and staff, the importance of continual evaluation and adaptability, and the need for collaboration and affirmation of young people of all gender identities. The fact that the organization is led by young people, and that it is encouraging and helping other creative young people to start their own shelters for homeless youth - in different parts of the country - makes the organization especially compelling to our board.

The work that Y2Y is doing is difficult in the best of times, but in the Covid era, it is especially difficult. So this grant is unrestricted in its use.
